Fuel System Upgrades

Background

The Town of NEMI purchased what was for years Wally’s Dock Service in May of 2024.  

Some fuels system upgrades have been made since:

• 4 new Hose Reels (2 gas & 2 diesel)
• All new fuel hoses (approximately 60ft per hose reel)

The fuel dispensers need replacement.  

Scope of Work

• Remove and dispose of 2 existing pumps
• Install  
  • 1 x Wayne Global Select Duo 2 Gasoline Pump
  • 1 x Wayne Global Select Duo 2 Diesel Pump
  • 1 x PI D-Box (Compatible with Dresser Wayne)
  • 1 x PI CON II Console controller with Printer & UPS
  • 4 x OPW 10SBHMP-5830 Shear Valve
  • 4 runs of 1” Schedule 40 Pipe from pumps to hose reels 
    • With flex connection at termination ends
    • Painted White
    • Approximately 60+ feet
• Remove Existing Hose from pumps to fuel reels
  • Customer will retain these

Includes:

• All labour associated with the project
• All required electrical including ESA Permits
• Any additional material to complete the scope of work

Required to:

• Meet or exceed all current codes of (but not limited to):
  1. TSSA
  2. CSA
  3. ESA
  4. OBOA/Ontario Building Code

• Compete all Registrations and required inspections with above agencies
• Complete all clean up and repairs of any damage/changes to the site

• Comply with all current workplace safety rules while on site of:
  1. MOL
  2. Ontario Government
  3. Public Health
• Provide a certificate of insurance and valid WSIB Coverage to the NEMI Clerk (pmyers@townofnemi.on.ca) prior to work starting.
• Complete a site visit with Facility Manager Reid Taylor (rtaylor@townofnemi.on.ca)
  1. Contact via phone or email during regular business hours.
  2. Book Appointment January 13^th to January 24^th, 2025
• Start construction on As Soon As Possible
• Complete project by May 10^th,2025
