Nomination Day, the third Friday in August in a regular election year. s.31 Candidate nominations may be filed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. s.33(4)(b) If a person is present at the clerk's office on Nomination Day at 2 p.m. and has not yet filed a nomination, they may file the nomination as soon as possible after 2 p.m. s.33(4.1) By 2 p.m., last day for a candidate to withdraw their nomination by filing a written notice with the clerk. s.36 Last day to revoke by-law to submit a question to electors. s.8.1(1)
