At a Special Meeting of Council, on March 31, 2020, as per Resolution 92-03-2020, Council approved the following financial relief measures for citizens and businesses during these challenging times.
1.) Extension of due dates on all new Water Bills and 2nd Installment of the Interim Tax Bill. New due date for both is June 30, 2020.
Interest would continue to accumulate on any balance that predated the COVID-19 outbreak. The situation can be reassessed in three months to determine if the measure should be extended for an additional period.
